EYFS:

72.7% of children in the Early Years made a Good Level of Development 

 

Year 1:

78.6% of children in Year 1 passed their Phonics Check

 

Year 2:

In reading, 60% of children reached the Expected Level

In writing, 60% of children reached the Expected Level

In maths, 100% of children reached the Expected Level

 

Year 6:

In reading, 70% of children reached the Expected Level

In writing, 60% of children reached the Expected Level

In Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling, 60% of children reached the Expected Level

In maths, 70% of children reached the Expected Level

In science, 80% of children reached the Expected Level

 

As Ofsted (July 2019) explained:

The very small numbers of pupils in each year group mean that the proportion represented by one pupil can vary considerably from year to year. Statistics regarding pupils’ outcomes can therefore show wide variation, and comparison with other schools nationally can be unreliable. This variability is evident in the outcomes of pupils at Shap.
