COVID Outbreak Management Plans
The Government has made it a national priority that education and childcare settings should continue to operate as normally as possible during the Covid-19 pandemic.
We have drawn up plans, procedures and control measures to manage individual positive cases of Covid-19 and for dealing with an individual (staff, pupil or visitor) who displays symptoms of Covid-19 whilst attending the school.
The full details of which can be found in our COVID Outbreak Management Plan.

We also receive guidance at a local level, based on COVID rates in Cumbria.
Please find below a letter from Colin Cox (Director of Public Health) issued on 03 January 2022. This summarises national guidance, and also the local guidance that has been issued as a result of rapidly increasing cases of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in Cumbria.
The supply of LFD test kits nationally has been a concern over recent weeks. The government hopes to have resolved any supply issues before the start of term, however if you are affected by the supply of LFD test kits, and are not able to 'test-to-release' from isolation, you should continue to isolate until either the end of the isolation period, or until the LFD test kits become available.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns, or anything you would like to discuss with us regarding the COVID situation.
