Nursery Admissions for January 2027

If your child was born between 1st Sept 2023 and 31st December 2023, they are eligible for 15 hours of free Universal nursery education starting in Jan 2027.

You can use these 15 hours across 5 mornings (8:45 am – 11:45 am) or explore other scheduling options—just pop into the office to discuss what works best for your family!

30 Hours Funded Childcare

Some families may be eligible for 30 hours of funded childcare per week. Eligibility and applications for the additional funded hours are managed through Childcare Choices.

Applying for a Nursery Place

Applications are made using the SA13 Nursery Application Form, which is available below, from the school office, or from Westmorland and Furness Council.

Additional Hours and Wraparound Care

We aim to be as flexible as possible to meet the needs of our families.

If you would like your child to attend for more than their funded entitlement, we offer additional Nursery hours at £4 per hour. Please contact the school office and we will be happy to help you work out an attendance pattern that suits your family.
