We were keen to continue running the litter picking on the school grounds that the previous School Councillors has started. We realised that the way it was running, wasn't successful so we had a think about how to change it. We decided to carryout the litter picking on a Wednesday lunchtime with each coloured house team taking a turn, every 4 weeks. This way, children can help and support the younger children in school. It is proving to be very successful and popular. It is surprising how much litter collects on the school grounds over the course of the week.
