During outdoor education sessions, the children across school have been learning how to use maps in order to enjoy some orienteering. KS1 children used aerial photo maps to identify different features and navigate to different points. LKS2 children learnt about the key and different features on orienteering maps in order to complete a star course. At each point there was a question linked to our WW2 History topic. They then had to decipher the message, just like cracking the WW2 enigma code!
