Learning about New Life, our children incubated and hatched eggs.  2 chicks hatched, appropriately named by our children: Midnight the black chick and Buttercup the yellow chick.

Our children really enjoyed incubating the chicks, watching them hatch, and helping them grow, documenting their progress.

Our chicks went off to their forever home at Green Farm to live with Andrea Hodgson, Friend of Shap School, who will continue to update us on their process.
