Using Microscopes to make careful observations

In Science, we were able to use the microscopes and magnifying glasses to make careful observations on the different rocks. We could believe how much more detail we could see when looking through the microscope at the rocks. Once we had spent time using the microscopes and magnifying glasses, we were able to group the rocks using a range of different properties, including appearance, texture, etc.
