As part of the Coronation celebrations, our class were tasked with making floral centrepieces for the tables. 

Mrs Turner led the session. She taught us the names of all of the flowers and greenery we were using. Before we began, she modelled and talked us through what we needed to do. We had to ensure we started with the greenery first, we were looking to put this around the edge, it didn't want to be too tall. Once we had added the greenery, we added the flowers. The whole time, we needed to think about our work been symmetrical. 

We had a lot of positive comments about our floral centrepieces, they certainly stood out on the white table clothes.
