Pastor Graham from Church in the Barn came into school to lead our Ascension Day Worship Time.

For those who don't know, Ascension Day is a Christian festival that commemorates the ascension of Jesus into heaven. It is celebrated on a Thursday, the fortieth day of Easter!

Pastor Graham taught the children about the ascension of the Holy Spirit in a way that I am sure they will never forget... with a potato shooter! The children were squealing with delight at Graham's demonstration, and were able to identify that Jesus hasn't descended yet after his ascension!
