After reading How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth, we looked at what imperative verbs are. We made a list of imperative verbs that we might use when washing a wild animal. In pairs, we gave our partner an instruction that included an imperative verb and they had to follow that instruction. By the end of the lesson, we had some very clean wild animals.
