States of Matter - Investigating which liquid travels the fastest
After looking at the properties of solids, liquids and gases. The children worked in groups to plan an investigation to see which liquid would travel the fastest down a slight ramp.
The children had to identify a range of liquids to use and then predict which liquid would travel the fastest down the ramp and why.
When carrying out the investigation, the children had to ensure it was a fair test.
After the investigation, the children recorded the results as a graph. The results created a lot of discussion as to which was the fastest and slowest and why.
