A number of children from Blencathra class took part in the Tri-Golf Festival at Appleby Grammar School. The event was organised by the Eden Valley Schools Sport Partnership and was run by Appleby Golf Club Members and Appleby Grammar School Sports Leaders. 

Over the course of the afternoon, the children took part in 10 different activities to gain points for our team. The activities were to develop the children's putting and chipping skills and hitting the ball for accuracy. The children were also awarded points for their listening, teamwork and encouragement. For each activity our team was awarded 10 out of 10 for this. 

A lot of fun was had and the team, finished the festival in first place. A huge well done to all the children that took part.
