The Governors at Shap C of E Primary School would like to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our team to support children within our EYFS who have impairment in imagination, social relationships and social communication, and sensory difficulties.
We are a small, caring rural school with 95 children aged 3-11, situated just 5 minutes off the M6.
Our EYFS setting offers a stimulating, exciting and diverse curriculum led by a very experienced, enthusiastic, friendly team who put the children at the heart of everything they do. A broad and balanced curriculum is delivered both in and out of the classroom making good use of the local community and open spaces.
Ofsted recognise that we offer a ‘warm and welcoming environment’ where ‘staff understand that a child’s emotional well-being is crucial to their general well-being and their ability to study’. ‘Pupils are enthusiastic learners and staff go to great lengths to provide high levels of pastoral support.’
